Pastor's Corner

Introducing Pastor Elvis Mogoi and Carolyn Mosomi-Mogoi. My name is Elvis Mogoi and my wife’s name is Carolyn Mosomi-Mogoi. We are both natives of Kenya, East Africa. One fun fact about us is that  we share the same birthdate. Which simply means that I don’t run the risk  of forgetting her birthday.  My wife and I met at  church after we finished high school.  I travelled to the USA in 2003  and Carolyn later joined me in 2011, a few months after we got married.  Our nuclear family is mainly comprised of Carol and I. As I enjoy doing the pastoral work, Carol gets to serve as a nurse. God has given us an opportunity to partner in ministry for the last several years.  I begun my pastoral ministry at West Wilmington in 2010 and was ordained in 2016. I enjoy studying the Bible and making new  friends. It has been a blessing  to be a pastor  in Wilmington  and also  to work with the leaders and support church planting efforts in Delaware.   One thing that Carol and I have enjoyed doing together is to go on medical mission trips. Since  our first one in 2013, we have been hooked. We hope that as we spend more time with you, you will know more about us as we get to know more about you. May our God bless  our new partnership in ministry as we grow together in readiness for His soon return. Peace and Blessings.Pastor Elvis Mogoi
