Our Core Belief's

 

At Baltimore White Marsh Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe in a living faith that shapes every part of our lives. Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible as the inspired Word of God and are centered on the love, grace, and teachings of Jesus Christ.

 

We embrace the following core convictions:

•The Trinity: 
                  One God expressed as Father, Son, and Holy                             Spirit—three eternal Persons united in love and                       purpose.

• Jesus Christ Our Savior: 

                  Salvation is a free gift made possible through the                   life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.                               Through Him, we find forgiveness, restoration,                         and eternal hope.

 

• The Bible: 
                 God’s Word is our foundation for faith and                                practice, guiding us in truth, morality, and daily                      living.

 

• Baptism by Immersion: 

                Following the example of Jesus, we practice                             baptism by full immersion in water. Baptism                           symbolizes the believer’s faith in Christ’s death                       and resurrection, the washing away of sin, and the                 beginning of a new life of discipleship. It is a public                 declaration of faith and commitment to follow                         Jesus.

 

• The Sabbath: 
               Following the example of Scripture, we observe                      the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) as a sacred                      time of rest, worship, and fellowship with God and                  one another.

 

• Second Coming of Christ: 
              We look forward with joy and expectation to the                     soon return of Jesus, who will bring an end to                           suffering and establish His everlasting kingdom.

• Wholeness in Christ: 
              We believe in living balanced lives that honor God                 physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. This                       includes care for health, relationships, and service                   to our community.

Denominational Affiliation

We are part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, a Christian denomination with over 22 million members in more than 200 countries. Seventh-day Adventists are a Bible-based, Christ-centered movement dedicated to preparing the world for Jesus’ soon return.

As members of this global family of faith, we join with other Adventist churches in proclaiming the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14—emphasizing the good news of salvation, calling people to true worship of God, and preparing hearts for the coming of Christ.

Our local church community is committed to being a welcoming place where faith grows, families are strengthened, and hope is shared.
